Our 2018/19 School Sports Council have now been elected by their classes.
Our Chairperson, Vice and Secretary are all from Year 6.
When asked why they had wanted to be a representative, the children shared a variety of reasons including wanting to make a difference and helping everyone take part.
Their first task was to ask all the representatives to audit their classes, asking for new ideas for our school sport and physical activities in school. Activities both in class and in the playground.
A bank of ideas have now been collected and Mrs Smith has been challenged with checking their feasibility.
Sports Leader training is in process and will be a key challenge for the council.
